On August 23, 2023, Freeman’s auction house sold a tapestry created by Lillian Holm which had once been owned by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The tapestry was gifted to Roosevelt by the first secretary general of the United Nations, Trygvie Lie. The author of “Dinner with Eleanor”, Helen N. Pratt received the tapestry as a gift and happily held it for almost 50 years.
